On Sunday, April 15,
2012, author and illustrator, DyAnne DiSalvo will be returning to the Dallas
area to be a part of our Promise of Peace Eco-Fest! Ms. DiSalvo’s award-winning book, “City Green” was one of the magical storybook playhouse
exhibits at the 2009 Dallas Arboretum.
In the story of “City Green,” a little girl named, Marcy inspires her neighbors (including the
grumpy Old Man Hammer) to turn an abandoned city lot into a garden that
everyone can enjoy. Sound
familiar? Thanks to Ruibals
Nursery “City Green” playhouse
was generously re-installed at the Promise of Peace garden. Come and meet
DyAnne DiSalvo and watch her illustrate a few of her favorite book characters at the POP garden!

Join us at “Keepn’ Our City Green” Eco Fest, 2012
